With over 20 years of experience in radiography, Simon began his career in administration and as a CT assistant while completing his Bachelor of Medical Imaging. He went on to build his career within Queensland Health, progressing into senior CT roles key responsibilities in radiation safety and workplace health and safety. He later served as a sole Chief Radiographer in the NSW public health system, delivering 24/7 imaging services for over a decade.

Simon and his family have proudly called the Hunter New England region home for the past 10 years. Grateful for the support they have received, Simon is passionate about giving back by improving access to high-quality healthcare services for the local community.
Together with his wife, Jamii, Simon believes the most meaningful legacy they can create is not in expanding services in already well-served metropolitan areas, but in strengthening healthcare access for rural communities often left behind by advancing technology.
